Suede came to us from Coach Roads kennel in NH and was Bred by Lou and Peggy Gagnon, this was a long awaited litter after 4 years crossing some exceptional working and show line dogs. Suede has fulfilled her promise as a exceptional working dog, and a fun dog with a rock solid temperament that Coach Roads is known for. Suede is a comical and very silly dog, We have found her difference in personality and temperament a breath of fresh air. She is VERY food motivated so clicker training has been a breeze, she loves to repeat task and does not get bored easy and has lots of energy to spare. About the only thing that will distract her from food, is a smell. Big surprise there... Suede is spending the fall doing what she was bred to do, FIND BIRDS! She retrieves like a dream, has a nose to die for and will only take a bit of time and millage to make one heck of a natural talent bird dog. We are very proud of our girl. We look forward to training her further in gun dog work, obedience work and tracking. She is a lovely sound dog, fluid movement, and has lots of substance. |
