WE are STRONG SUPPORTERS and Members of the 10 steps program http://www.ashgi.org/tensteps/tensteps.htm Breeding dogs, is our hobby, and something we take very seriously. This does include our litters produced here AND litters we may be a part of by offering our dogs to a outside female. Our primary goal is to do everything possible to Produce Puppies, that are good examples of the Australian shepherd, and are sound in type, temperament and health and do not end up in rescue, shelters. We do evaluate each breeding, and do have some requirements in bitches bred to our boys. Planning a Breedings takes time to research and discuss.. Calling when your bitch is in season is NOT recommended. We can offer, We can offer fresh chilled, or natural service. All our stud services are done by contract, fees vary depending on each individual male contact us for more information We do require.... All bitches to be free of disqualifying faults of good overall health, temperament and Free infectious disease. We do require All puppies be sold on a WRITTEN contract that includes both a breeder take back Clause. Spay/neuter of Companion(pet)quality puppies sold as potential Show/Breeding quality must be Hip/Eye Certified and mature (<2 years old) before they can be bred. Bitches Must be at LEAST 2 years old. They must Certified free for Hip Dysplasia(OFA/PennHip), Eye issues (CERF) Elbows, MDR1, Cataracts Mutation, Thyroid, Cardiac and DNA parentage profile may also be required. WE follow The Health Testing Recommendation listed By the ASHGI and AKC CHIC program. |
