| About our leads, Collars and products We Offer a line of Braided Kangaroo leather leads and collars Custom braided flat buckle English bridle leather collars and some select other Dog related items. About our Braided products..We use Kangaroo because of its fine grain , Strength and unique properties. WE DO MAKE our leads and do the work on the collars. We put a lot of effort in prep work to get a nice even braid. We do use a core for most of the leads. Our Cores are a high test braided line, Not a NYLON FISHING LINE. Cores are added to give some additional strength and shape to the lead. Please keep in mind, Kangaroo is strong, BUT.... Most Kangaroo leads are 1/8" to 1/4" thick. They CAN break if abused, conditioned with the wrong products, or being a natural product there is a hidden flaw in the hide that is not obvious when the lace is cut. It is important to be realistic about the dog you will be using your lead on, and to choose appropriately. I do stand behind my leashes, so In some cases if a lead brakes, I may be able to repair or replace it at no charge or minimal charge to you. For repairs, you are responsible for shipping back to me and sending a SASE to return it... We are expanding our Leash line and offer or keep leashes with unfinished ends. This allows the you the buyer you have the option of choosing you end style, add a snap or loop, attach to a collar. We also Offer English bridle leather Collars with Braid work and even a Paracord and Mohair Line of show and obedience leads. ABOUT BEADS. Beaded leads are generally limited the smaller 4 thong braids. Sorry but we DO braid under the beads, so this requires a bead with a larger hole. We use beads of many materials, so prices do vary depending on each bead. Pricing for our beaded leads is very simple, we ADD the cost of the bead set to the COST of the lead. WE ONLY USE BEADS that allow us to keep the braid not doing so makes a weak spot that will break, or at the very least possibly stretch and show later on. So we do not have quite the number of breads for selection like some leash makers. Price for BEADED LEADS is the cost of the lead PLUS the cost of the bead work. I try to find/use really nice beads, I use plastic Glass, Sterling etc. We do offer some leads with just some nice, sturdy basic inexpesive beads- Plastic, metal, glass. We also offer a line of only STERLING silver and designer bead sets with some beads from bead artist. A beaded lead is not only attractive but a piece of "fine" jewelry for your deserving dog. For some examples of my previous of leads I have done (HERE) I try to use something different on each lead, I do have some "duplicate" styles but some previous designs I cannot. IF you HAVE BEADS you want to use I CAN add them as long as they have at least a 4mm hole. Cost for adding beads is $2.00 a lead. About Our Buckle Collar Line Our Collars are made of English Bridle Leather and MADE in THE USA! Sorry no cheap latago leather collars here. All have solid Brass Hardware. We then customise our collars with a assortment of accent pieces and Kangaroo appliqué braids. I do offer Hand dyed Metallic lace- this is a additional cost of $2.00 per lead/collar I ship by ONLY BY USPS priority mail this is because it is fast, trackable. Leads shipped other methods have been lost and I do not want to take that chance. Cost for shipping and Handling is $5.00 for the first lead and free on additional leads up to 10 leads I do Accept personal check or Money order. |
