MuddyFeet Australian Shepherd-Deposit Contract
A Deposit of $200.00 USD is required to place a reservation for this litter. This deposit holds a "puppy" of the
particular type (companion/show/performance) then color or sex preferred. We do not take deposits on
"specific" puppies in a litter.
The deposit of $200.00 USD will be deducted from the final purchase price of that puppy of____________.
We breed first for ourselves; this litter was bred with the intention of keeping something from this cross. WE
make our selections FIRST as to what puppy(s) we will be keeping for further evaluation. NOT every
puppy in this litter will be available for immediate placement. SO Not every pup born will be for
sale or available for buyers to select from.
--- We are restricted by what is whelped such as: color, sex, quantity, specific type (show, family
companion, performance) temperament, etc. We try to be as expedient as possible determining what puppies
are to be placed into what kind of homes but, it must be understood that other than sex, color or disqualifying
marks, traits such as conformation, energy level and temperament cannot be determined until final evaluation
at 7-8 weeks old. We do not make any final decisions as to what specific puppies are available till after final
evaluation.
----As breeders we place each of our puppies first and foremost into a home that it is suited for. We will do
our best to match the buyer’s preference as to color or sex but will not sell a puppy regardless of sex and or
color into a home that may prove unsuitable.
*** You as buyer will not be able to choose any puppy you would like from the "entire" litter. The pup(s) you
will be allowed to choose from, are the ones we are not holding back for ourselves, and the pups we have
evaluated as potential matches for you, This is biased on your needs and expectations and if your are looking
for a companion, performance or show prospect (type of home). This may be several puppies or one if the
litter is small or the needs/expectations of the buyer are specific.
----Family companion, show/breeding and performance puppies are physically and mentally sound. The
Differences between a Family companion, performance or show prospect are based on the puppy’s
comparison to the breed standard and that particular puppy’s personality and temperament, only puppies
determined to contribute to the betterment of the breed are sold as Show/Breeding quality.
----We will be sending updates, pictures and will welcome some visitation privileges to see the litter if you
wish when the pups are old enough to be reasonably safe to infectious disease that could potentially be
brought in with visitors to our home.

It is OK to have a preference on sex or color but keep in mind that male or female when altered differ very little in
temperament, Buyers who do so must be aware that this will limit the chances of them getting a puppy, since the puppy
of that color and/or sex may not be the best match for them.
If there is not a puppy of the Specific type, and/or requested sex, color would you still be interested in a

By signing this contract you are agreeing to purchase a Australian Shepherd puppy from this litter and
Amanda & Bernard Bushee-Kennel name Muddyfeet.

No puppies will be reserved without a deposit.
We reserve the right to offer a refund and refuse the sale to any buyer for any reason.

We the breeders will refund this deposit in the case of:
Death, Disease or major medical condition discovered after the date of deposit and before the date
of final sale.
No pups are born or more deposits than puppies available.
Should a breeding not produce the specific type (companion or show/performance), color or sex
reserved
After final evaluation there is not a suitable match for a particular home.
Please note that deposits will NOT be refunded for any other reason.
The buyer may also use the deposit towards:
1) Another puppy from the same litter (if Available)
2) A puppy from a future litter
3) The deposit will be refunded.
If the buyer chooses the option of having the deposit applied to different Puppy or adult dog it is
understood that the purchase price of that Australian Shepherd may be less, equal or greater than
the purchase price of this puppy. As with this original deposit, the $200.00 USD will be detected from
that Australian Shepherds purchase price.
