What about our Available dogs/litters?
Every here at Muddyfeet is carefully planned, on overall health temperament and abilities.  All our
dogs used in our breeding program are OFA, and CERF along with several additional DNA test for
Genetic disease. We are very serious about giving every puppy/dog we own raise or breed the
individual attention they deserve.
We generally have at MOST one litter a year or ever other year.
Sometimes we may have a  young adult or a very special older dog looking for the "right" home
Why? This is NEVER a Easy decision.  We personally hold a limit to the number of dogs we will have in our pack, this is to
ensure that each and every dog receives the attention training and individual time they deserve.  It would be unfair as much
as we would like to "keep" them all.  There are only so many hours in a day, and so much time you can decide up to give
each and every dog the time they need to be happy. We are never in a rush to place a dog, and willing and able to wait till
that right match comes along.

How we raise our puppies
We raise our puppies/dogs with a lot of challenges/experiences are handled extensively from birth. Of course our litters
are raised in our home and underfoot.  We start teaching and exposing our puppies different surfaces, places, sounds,
People, our other dogs. It has been proven early exposure to challenges, sensory stimulation and handling by a wide
variety of people helps jump start early neurological development. As our puppies get older, we get them used to being
groomed, handled, nail trims. Our puppies are started on early training,  including Leash work, crate training, Clicker
training and all have seen or been on Agility Equipment. We make a point to give our puppies as much benefit from careful
handling and experiences and training BEFORE we place them, This makes your puppy a better companion. Needles to say
we do not get a whole lot done when we have a litter on the ground, but it is a labor of love for us.
On occasion we may have a older pup, or adult dog available for placement into the right home.

All of our puppies, have tails docked, dewclaws removed. We also ID our puppies/dogs with a permanent microchip. ALL
our dogs are sold Registered with AKC and ASCA. Our Puppies received the appropriate initial vaccinations for viruses,
worming, started on Heartworm and Flea and Tick preventative.  At 7-8 weeks Our puppies are examined by a
Veterinarian, evaluated for conformation, temperament tested and ALSO see a specialist in eyes to check for eye
abnormalities.
We do provide our buyers with comprehensive puppy packet that includes, registration paperwork a 5-10 generation
pedigree, pictures, certificates and health clearances on sire and dam, training info, supply of food, a familiar toy, leash and
collar and a book on Aussies or training.

We warranty our dogs for overall health including Hips, Eyes, Epilepsy, Autoimmune issues or issues that may effect the
dogs suitability for the roll it will fulfill.
As Always if you are EVER not able to keep your dog we will ALWAYS be able to take that dog back, or assist in finding
that dog an appropriate home
How we place our puppies/dogs
Before we sell or place any dog or take deposits or send dog/puppy to a new home, we need to know a bit about yourself, what you are looking for, a bit
about your lifestyle.  A Aussie can be the best fit for your family, or not the ideal match.  An Aussie MAY not be the best breed of dog, for your family or
lifestyle. What are your needs and expectations in for your new family companion? We are not in the business of just selling dogs. The truth is We are very
open and honest in our dogs, and are more than happy to NOT sell someone a dog if it means that they can find a better match somewhere else, or with
another breed of dog.
We do this though E-mail Phone conversations, visits and a Q
uestionnaire to keep your information organized.

With ALL of our placements, We consider what a home (buyer) is looking for in Personality and energy level the future roll that dog will fill, along with
each puppies individual characteristics. Color and or sex is secondary to these qualifications.
We do guide our buyers as to what puppies may be a suitable match for them, biased on the buyers expectations and needs
and the puppies temperament
and personality.   This may be several puppies or one, if the litter is small or the needs/expectations of the buyer are specific.   Keep in mind, Dog "itself"
you live with, Not just its sex, color, markings or cute photo. Not every puppy in our litters will be available for you to choose from, and we do not allow
buyers to just come a "pick" any pup from the entire litter.
We do on occasion ship to suitable homes in other areas of the country.  This is most often used by people looking for a particular show or performance
dog.  If someone is looking for a pet prospect/family companion, we often DO NOT SHIP but, will refer you to breeders we either know, or are familiar
with in your general area. In some most cases referral from us to a breeder closer to you, for homes looking for a companion dog is a better option. This is
so you can meet your prospective puppy in person and have the support of that breeder closer at hand. Our primary goal is for all to be happy, so we are
selective, and careful with long distance placements.

What about Sex and Color?
Having one specific color and or sex request,  WILL make finding a puppy that much harder,
Please... Dog breeding is not made to order. We have NO way to ensure a particular number of puppies in a litter will be born let alone if a
number of males/females or colors.
So yes, we do prefer buyers to be flexible in this area,
Male and females differ very little in temperament when altered and both make excellent companions. Color is window
dressing.
A preference is OK, as long as a buyer understands that if they have a specific need/want for a particular sex, looking for a particular color it is
very possible that puppy may not be born or may not be a match for them in personality and temperament.

Yes there are specific times when a particular sex may be the best/only option for a suitable potential match (show/Perfomance or homes with
another dog) so we do take these issues into consideration on a case by case basis.

We do accept deposits on our litters, They are highly recommended.
